Minimum Wages in Uttarakhand have been provided for the state and made effective consideration from October 1st, 2023, under the different employment categories, with due consideration of the worker’s skill and location in the state. It entails that even an unskilled worker in the leading areas is eligible to get a minimum wage rate of ₹10,031, while a highly skilled worker is further demanded to get a minimum wage rate of ₹12,220. Allowances for housing (HRA) and travel (LTA) are also included in the basic salary structure. This will help evolve a comprehensive pay structure for minimum wage earners in the state of Uttarakhand, giving due consideration to the contributions of the employee and employer to the social security schemes.
